Positive test after 2 weeks

Hi

I've had a ERPC (D&C) nearly 3 weeks ago they asked me to do a pregnancy test which has come back positive I've had no bleeding what so ever..

I was 10 weeks pregnant, pregnancy failed at 8 weeks had to wait for the heartbeat to be booked for the ERPC

Has anyone experienced this as I'm worried

@pattaz2711 no news, I decided not to test again until Friday and deal with it then. How about you, have you tested again?

@pattaz2711 how are you doing? My test was still positive so I went to the hospital today and they did a hysteroscopy. There was still a small piece of tissue. That better be the end of it now! Luckily there was no scarring or anything else unusual going on.

@pattaz2711 don’t think I’ll have to go back in again, I was awake for the hysteroscopy so could see on the screen my womb is empty now. I was thinking of getting a hysteroscopy anyway to rule out any abnormalities so there’s a silver lining I suppose.

Are that's good then are you getting getting positive
I had negative Wednesday an now think I'm about to start my period with revengence lol..

So that's another thing ruled out?

@Dbrook I've had another scan today as my doctor requested even tho I have faint positive. But it's come up positive again wtf

@pattaz2711 oh no, I thought you had already started getting negatives? Did the scan show anything?

I haven’t tested since my hysteroscopy last week, I’m going to wait until tomorrow. I don’t know what they can even do if it’s still positive, I’ve had every procedure possible and I know my womb is empty now. Hopefully it will finally be negative.

@Dbrook I did last Thursday today I have bloody positive again they have taken bloods now an speaking to the consultant xx

@ivfhope3 did you change your name? That’s so strange that your test has gone back to positive. Did the consultant give any explanation why? Our bodies are so mysterious.

@Dbrook bloods are back the 146 she said they have gone down since July but I had negative last week what is happening

@pattaz1 that’s nuts, are they going to test your bloods again in a couple of days to compare? Is there any way it could be the start of a new pregnancy or is that impossible without IVF?

@Dbrook nope told me to wait to weeks an test again.. I'm so drained now..
I don't think it could be if it was it'll be very early days.. an would be a miracle! How are you xx

@pattaz1 seems odd that they won’t measure your hcg again to compare. Fingers crossed it will be negative again in a week - or a miracle! I’m not looking forward to testing again tomorrow, I will scream if it’s still positive. I know what you mean about feeling drained xx

I've asked my doctor to request a private blood test for me to see if it's going down or what.. surely tho they can't tell just from the one bloods xxx
