Ectopic Pregnancy 12 yrs ago - my story and offer of support...

12 years today I had emergency surgery for an ectopic pregnancy. I went from being told I was pregnant to being rushed to theatre in less than an hour. I had a Fallopian tube removed and also had other complications and PTSD afterwards.

I was incredibly lucky to get pregnant again quickly and after a very stressful few weeks and numerous early scans for both subsequent pregnancies, I have two DCs.

I always take a few minutes on this anniversary to reflect and this year I felt that I wanted to share firstly to give hope to those going through something similar and also to offer support if anyone needs to talk via DM.

Take care all.

Hi OP,
I've just recently had my second surgery for a second ectopic within 4 months.
It's very tough, but I look for hope in success stories like yours. Hopefully one day I will get there. Thank you 💞 x

@ColaPip Im pleased you had successful pregnancies after and I'm sorry you had an ectopic.

@BMWL I've had 2 ectopics & I lost both tubes, we had to have ivf obvs & after a miscarriage from our first ivf the second worked and have a nearly 7 yr old now, please don't lose hope x

Thank you both so much for your replies.
Hopefully everything will work out when the time is right. Just taking time for myself and my husband to deal with this both physically and emotional. We will get through it together xx
