Going to miscarry again - so depressing

I'm pregnant for the 6th time (one dc and x4 mcs) and any symptoms I had gave disappeared. I've now got the same 'empty' feeling I had before each of my mcs.

I've got a scan on Tuesday to see if this pregnancy is viable (will be about 7wks then) but it's all so depressing. I just can't be bothered to go through all of this again. Especially now the hospital aren't offering d&cs due to COVID.

Feel stupid for even trying again to be honest.

There's a heartbeat 💓. I'm genuinely in shock.

Wonderful news 💓 💓

Go home, put feet up and smile x

I had 7 MC and have one wonderful daughter - now 6 - so I can empathise with what you are going through.

Take it day by day and celebrate and appreciate where you are at now x

Hey I'm so sorry for everything you have been through I feel some of your pain. I went through 4 miscarriages and dreaded each one after the first for the same news.
So in the end I gave up hope I was so low I gave up we wasn't trying anymore but wasn't preventing either just had sex as and when we felt like it before it was like a clockwork schedule.
I broke down in the doctors I only went in with a ingrown toenail I broke down big time they had to call my husband to get me there was a new born in the waiting room snuggled into his mother's arms and it broke me. So she sent me for tests on me and hubby. He came back fine. I was fine except for a very tilted uterus.
Anyway due to my breakdown my husband booked me in for a few massages to relax me I started sleeping naked as I read an article in the salon about it doing something to your body temperature and it helping you relax more at night. I had zero caffeine in my system so no tea. Coffee. Coke. Chocolate etc.
Husband had to work away so we only had sex 3 times just at random times in 2 months.
He had to come home for our first fertility appointment with the doctors where we talked about our sex life stress etc. Was really good. Anyway the next day he had to go back to work. I had a really bad back it was so painful I went to take some strong painkillers that I normally take but something in my head was telling me not to was really strange. So I did a test it was positive I was in total shock it couldn't be real as we hardly had sex so I did 5 more lol got 3+ on the clear blue.
Now by baby boy is nearly 5 and my world.
It turned out I don't know why or how or the science biology behind it. I can't carry a girl something in the genetics just doesn't work.
Please never give up hope

Congratulations!!

Starlight39 · 09/06/2020 17:18

Ah, that's such lovely news! Congratulations! Flowers.

I've been following this thread hoping for some good news for you - I'm in very nearly the exact same situation, 7 and a bit weeks pregnant with my 5th pregnancy, (1 DC and 3 MCs previously) and most of my symptoms disappeared a few days ago. Your outcome has given me a little hope!!

Sophfr17 · 09/06/2020 18:13

@ AintOverUntilTheCatLadySings
Yeah! I am so relieved for you 😊 stay strong and positive xx

Do you think you could go to the EPU tomorrow? They should be able to scan you quickly. You will know what is going on, and hopefully, you will be able to relax xx

Delighted for you! 💕

Iggi999 · 09/06/2020 19:22

Very pleased for you SmileSmile

Starlight39 · 09/06/2020 20:44

Thanks @Sophfr17, I spoke to the doctor today and she has booked me in to have an early scan but said it'll be confirmed in a letter so I guess it'll be a few days more at least. The EPU I've been to before don't accept self referrals unfortunately.

You must have felt so amazed to see that heartbeat 😍 wishing you all the absolute best for this pregnancy. Losses are so so hard. You deserve a healthy pregnancy.
