Hi ladies,

Unfortunately at my 12 week scan I found out I had a mmc and baby died at 8 weeks. After two failed medical managements I had surgical management on 27/03. I’m really keen to try again asap, according to the faq on my Ava bracelet, following a miscarriage it’s hard to work out when you ovulate but your CD1 should be approximately when your HCG falls low enough to fail a pg test.

It’s been two weeks since my procedure and I’m still testing a fairly strong positive. In your experience, how long did it take for HCG to fall low enough to get a negative test?

Sorry for your loss... I had SMM on the 19th March I did a test a week later and it was a strong positive, a week after that on the 1st April it was pretty much negative (a very faint line on a sensitive test). According to my opks I think I ovulated around the 6th April. Having spoken to a few ladies in the same situation... I think you can actually conceive with a little bit of hcg in your system as I believe you can ovulate as soon as 2 weeks after surgery. Sending you lots of love and hoping you get your BFP soon x
