LMP - Jan 29-2
Spotting (very mild) - Feb 10-16
LH surge - Feb 22 (tested with strips)
Mar 3 - 9 DPO first very faint + pregnancy test and progressed from there to get darker

HCG drawn Mar 13 - 2164 IU/L

Feb 30 first u/s
Supposed to be ? 7+0 weeks as per my estimate (based on when I ovulated)
Almost 9 weeks based on LMP
U/s results:
Estimate 6+4 based on u/s.
No heartbeat (transvaginal & abdominal)

April 6 u/s results: repeat a week later
6+3 estimated
Fetal pole present “hasn’t really increased in size” from previous scan
No heartbeat (transvaginal & abdominal)
Crown rumpling length 3.8 mm
“Concerning for a missed pregnancy”

I have not had any cramping or bleeding
Continue to have sore breasts, extreme fatigue
Started to have urinary frequency and nausea in the last few days

Anyone had this happen to them?
She is referring me to OB.. so right now it’s a waiting game. I am preparing myself for the worst but can’t help but hold onto some hope 💔

@idan3712 my word, we are exactly the same.

LMP 29th Jan
LH surge 21st Feb (so ovulated 22nd Feb)
BFP 7th March (held off testing as too anxious)

Early scan 18th March -7 weeks (but 5 weeks really)- early sac and yolk, 5mm

2nd scan 1st April 9 weeks (7+ really)- CRL 3mm, slow heart rate

waiting for scan tomorrow pm to confirm likely miscarriage.
I have had some very minimal spotting, no cramping. Pregnancy sxs fading but tbh never really had them. I dont feel pregnant anymore.

Very anxious as i would have preferred ERPC to end this pregnancy but due to pandemic these arent being done. So have they not discussed options with you? im sorry you are going through this. Its horrible. Do you have children?

Hi

I had a MMC last year in March. I had no bleeding or spotting or reduction in symptoms. I just decided to have an early scan at 8 weeks to check all was ok.

There was a fetal pole there measuring 6w 1sbut no heart beat. I then went back in a week and sadly no change. I then had the d&c op, which was pretty painless and the staff were fantastic. I had little bleeding after. So not the best outcome, but the procedure was fine.

I am now 12w pregnant and have had 3 scans already due to be being concerned.. however.. so far so good and fingers crossed for going forward. I also know 4 of my friends who have had MMC/ missed carriages and now have at least a couple of children.

I am so sorry, as I'm afraid it seems likely that you may have the same outcome as I had with my first pregnancy. However, when you are ready and if there is a silver lining, this has not impact on your getting pregnant again.

Take care and lots of hugs xxxx

@Chopsuey1, sorry just read the bottom of your post. I am surprised they are not offering the ERPC as an option. Is that across all hospitals for you think? Worth checking if you are worried xxxx

Thank you for sharing. I am sorry you are going through a similar experience. It’s terrible. Wow such a resemblance.
I don’t have any children and this is my first pregnancy so I don’t really know what to expect in the first place. What about you?

My family doctor is being very vague with me.
Last week she said there’s no heartbeat but they think it’s just because it’s too early hence repeat in a week.
I was thinking the worst already then and was waiting for what seemed like forever for the repeat. Only to have more questions..
She is referring me to an OB who will contact me this week and will give me my options. As of right now, I don’t have any follow up and don’t know what is happening.
I just wish I had answers. It’s just making me more anxious. I am thinking this isn’t looking good but can’t help but think what if? Especially when no one is being up front with me..

The weird thing is I have no bleeding or signs of a miscarriage and my pregnancy symptoms are getting stronger.
It’s frustrating that my body may be holding on to it and I have progressing symptoms yet the ultrasound is not reflecting that. I am just confused :(

I had two both times went to 12 weeks with no bleeding and found out at the scan there was no heartbeat. Also had a normal miscarriage but now have 3 healthy kids

I’m having my second missed miscarriage.

First one I had a scan as I had a tiny amount of spotting, scan measured 6wks, no fetal pole at all. Waited 4wks, didn’t miscarry by myself so had medical management (tablets).

Then had a normal pregnancy with spotting at 9wks but baby was fine thankfully.

This second miscarriage was spotted as again I had a small amount of spotting (not red blood), I should have been 10wks, measuring 5wks but sack etc already coming away. Still no blood etc and I’ve just been advised to wait. Very stressful.

Sorry you are all in the same boat.

I had a mmc last may with a fetal pole around the same length but no heartbeat at 8 weeks. They have to scan again after a week before declaring it but I was then told it hadnt grown beyond 5/6 weeks. I wasn't offered the procedure to remove it, just told to go home and wait. After a few days I started to bleed which lasted a whole month. I had a scan in the middle which said it was incomplete. I finally stopped bleeding after I passed the fetal sac.
I gave my body one cycle to reset and got pregnant again the next cycle, although it tainted early pregnancy as I was so worried. I had private scans every few weeks for the first 20 weeks. I'm due on saturday.

Sorry you're going through this. The chances are that next time will be successful for you though.

I'm sorry you're going through this. I've experienced 2 missed miscarriages last year. Both times i was measuring a couple of weeks behind and we didn't see a heartbeat in either pregnancy.
The epu didn't discuss options with me either time and I did miscarry naturally both times - one at 9+4 and one at 8+6.

Sending lots of love xx

Ladies i had my MVA this afternoon. Its been a huge relief. Had my scan around 2pm which confirmed no growth and no heartbeat (as i expected). By 4 pm i had the Manual vacuum aspiration. Sounds horrific and i was utterly scared but i couldnt bare waiting for a 'natural' miscarriage and was worried I couldnt cope with the pain and bleeding at home with MMC. I was prepared for unbearable pain but it was honestly not bad at all. The radio was on whilst it was being done and i remember thinking the pain will only be as long as this song. But within 2 mins it was done. The song hadnt even finished and the Dr said she was done. I couldn't believe it. Had an odd feeling of relief. Which sounds weird with a miscarriage but this was never meant to be. The fetus never grew more than 6 weeks. He/she was never destined to be with us. And theres nothing i could have done to change things.
I was home after 5 and not had any bleeding since. I dont feel too sad, im sure it will hit me soon though. Think im more sad that we wont be able to try again until we know how this pandemic is heading. After having the MVA today, it does worry me about not having full access to antenatal services if we got pregnant again. There are serious complications with pregnancy and I personally can't take the risk.
