I was having what I thought were pregnancy symptoms as I don’t usually get PMS (I had nausea, sore boobs and twinges). I took a test when my period was 3 days late BFN so left it at that. I’m now 1 week 3 days late and started spotting this morning - I don’t normally spot I just have a bleed flow straight away and the cramps kick in. After the spotting flow started and was very heavy (I assumed due to late period) and cramps kicked in badly took some tablets they wore off. Just changed my pad and there was from one end to the other a clot / tissue material wide and well as long covering the pad. I moved it with a tissue and it broke into smaller stringy pieces. I’m used to having rounded dark clots every now and again which look smooth but this looked more like tissue, was dark red but lighter in some places. Please can anybody tell me if this is early miscarriage I know the test would have said positive being 3 days late unless I ovulated later than expected. I read this might just be more uterine lining due to delayed period? Is this logical? Thank you x
