So I had a MMC on 26th Jan, went in for a 12 week scan a few days before only to find the pregnancy had stopped developing at 8/9 weeks. Everything happened naturally over the next few days and miscarried on 26th. Went for a scan on 27th and they said there was 2cm retained tissue. I opted to let nature take its course and 2 days later it passed (I know it definitely was that) so I am now almost 3 weeks on, the bleeding stopped completely after 8 days but we waited the 2 weeks suggested to have sex again. Since we have I’ve noticed I’ve bled each time, only a very small amount when I wiped and stopped straight away. This has happened 3 times now and I’m not sure why. Is this normal? Has it happened to anybody else after a miscarriage? It’s never happened to me before so assuming it’s just my body getting back to normal or maybe a bit of irritation.
We are ttc again but this has put me off a bit now
