Hello lovely people, yesterday was a bit of a crazy day for me and my boyfriend.

So Let me start from the beginning.... I have Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome. This syndrome can affect many people in different ways. (Some people have higher chance at getting pregnant others may not, I am one that has a very low risk) since about 22nd of December 2019, I have been getting many symptoms associated with pregnancy. My boobs have gotten much bigger, with a few blocked milk ducts inside them which the doctor found yet didn’t check if I was pregnant 🤨 I am over a month late for my period (I still get regular periods with my PCOS, however the doctor has shown that I do not ovulate with it) very strange I know! So in total since December I have taken 3 pregnancy tests and none have said positive (with PCOS however, my hormone imbalance can give false negatives) with all that I continued to live my life still missing my period until yesterday...

So two days ago I got an extreme sharp stabbing pain in my abdominal (nothing like cramps) and then yesterday it happened again but hurt even more! Then me and my boyfriend were lying in bed together then all of a sudden I get an extreme pain again followed by bright red blood. I assumed I finally got my period. But after 1 hour all the blood had stopped. I also had a pain in my left shoulder which I noticed yesterday morning whilst I was in the shower (that pain has now disappeared) but also my boobs are now less tender and the blocked milk ducts seem to be disappearing..

I really would like a second opinion before I go to the doctors. Thank you!!

@Chandler195 I didn't want to just read and not post...

I had an ectopic pregnancy last summer and that's what my symptoms were the agonising abdominal pain followed by light bleeding which just stopped.... shoulder tip pain is another symptom associated with an ectopic pregnancy also... I'm not trying to scare munger you im just writing from my experience here... I had no idea I was even pregnant and had to go to the emergency room the pain was so bad... it's took them 6 weeks to confirm I had an ectopic pregnancy and by that time my tube had already ruptured and I was internally bleeding and had to have surgery to have the pregnancy removed and also my tube.
By no means am I saying you are experiencing an EP I pray to god you arnt... you should make a doctors appointment as soon as possible and explain your symptoms to your GP or if you experience more pain in your abdomen area go to the emergency room.... hope you are ok and everything turns out fine for you Thanksxx

@Chandler195 it seriously was such a shock... you never think those things will happen to you and then one day they do! Exactly it's better to be safe I completely agree I wish I had posted my symptoms at the time and had someone tell me to go and 'this' checked out and maybe I wouldn't of had to lose my tube! Even if you explain to your GP that these are the symptoms I'm experiencing is there anyway I could have a blood test to see if there is any HCG in my system as you mentioned about your PCOS and see what they say... I'm sure everything is just fine and you're probably having an off cycle 🥰
There's always a silver lining I found out Sunday that I'm pregnant again 4 months after my ectopic surgery.. I'm being really closely monitored now which I really reassuring of course still early days Thanksxx
