No period for 5 weeks after mc, symptoms but negative test

Someone please help before I go crazy!!!!!

I had a natural mc on the 2nd dec at around 5 weeks pregnant. Started TTC after two weeks when bleeding has stopped as doctor said no need to wait. I know periods can take a while to come back but I’ve been having cramps for nearly two weeks now. Took a test on Sunday morning because of the cramps but it’s was negative. I was sure my period was going to start the next day. Still 5 days on it hasn’t started but symptoms have increased. Boobs are so full and heavy, nausea on and off, hot sweats, fatigue... all symptoms I felt before. Took another test this evening as I could wait any longer and BFN. Has this happened to anyone else and what was our outcome?? I feel like I’m going crazy but I’ve never had such strong symptoms with a period before

I know this isn’t what you want to hear, but it’s probably to early to tell in both instances. Because we don’t know where you’d be in your cycle it’s hard to tell if it’s too soon for the test or if it’s just the start of your next cycle.
After my miscarriage I was told to wait and have a period first which took 6 weeks to appear, so there’s really no way of knowing it’s just a horrible waiting game I’m afraid! Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you that when you test again in a few days you get that BFP!

@Gigitree I prayed if it was my period it would come quick to stop all this craziness!! It just seems too cruel to have these symptoms but not pregnant. Fingers crossed I will know either way soon
