I had my D and c 17th Oct 12 weeks gestation baby stopped at 8 weeks. 1st week - Bleeding
2nd week - random spotting
2.5 weeks - Transvaginal scan found some retained products and was put in antibiotics for 2 weeks
3rd week - Hpt still positive but fainting so bloods done for HCG, confirmed its dropping (from 82 to 66)
4th week - Negative HpT, Transvaginal scan still some retained tissue and asked me to wait for my af for another two weeks
5th week - I start brown, pink and creamy discharge, mild cramping and no af yet

I am worried to death why I am not getting my af and why I have thickened endometrium 18.9 mm. Is this something I need to be worried ? please share some experiences on this

I'm sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage at 13 weeks, baby had passed at 9.5 weeks. My period didn't come back until 8 weeks after the miscarriage bleeding started. It can take quite a while for things to get back to normal unfortunately. I'm not sure about the thickened endometrium. Did they not give you any advice about that at your scan?

@bettymoo212 hello thank you for sharing, I think I will just have to wait for my af. Docs say it’s within normal limits after miscarriage and they expect me to shed the lining in period. It feels like ages. Yesterday I did opk and it was low and hpt BFN.that was little consoling as for 4 weeks I had positive hpt ☹️😔

It's good news that you've had a negative HPT now. Hang in there - I know it's agonising waiting for the first AF, but it will come soon!
