Does this sound like a mc? Can I wait to see gp tomorrow?

Hi, I'm 6w pregnant, I've had a really busy few days and only a few hours sleep on Friday night with DS being poorly. Yesterday morning I felt like I had trapped wind and have muscle pain in my shoulder blade and in to my neck, I think that was caused by some awkward work I was doing on Friday and sleeping funny on the sofa on Friday night with DS.

So yesterday I was at work, generally feeling pretty horrible with my shoulder pain and lack of sleep, I went on my break and when I went to the loo there was a little bit of blood when I wiped, so i sat down for a rest and about 10 mins later I felt a big gush, it had gone through my pants and trousers, I nipped home to get a change of clothes and some pads. I had to keep working as I had no one to cover for me, I was glad I did really for the distraction.

Since then the bleeding has got less and less, it's now just a bit of brownish blood when I wipe. I feel ok just a bit achey, I still feel sickly too.

I don't know what the next step is, I really don't want to go and sit in a&e for hours today, I looked up my local EPAU and it says appointments are by referral from GP or a&e, so will I be ok to just wait to make a GP appointment in the morning?

Tomorrow morning I'm supposed to be going to have blood tests and swabs ready for later in the week when I've booked in for a d&c (or whatever it's called) but some guy feeling in me is just saying to go for the natural route and I'm lying awake driving myself mad.

Is there anyone else still awake to tell me I wouldn't be completely ridiculous to tell them tomorrow that I've changed my mind?

I'm so sorry @morningcuppatea

If you are just 6w, you can of course opt to let the MC progress naturally.

Sometimes the D&C (now usually called ERPC) is needed for pregnancies that are further along where the MC has happened but not completed eg a MMC.

That said, I had a D&C and it was fine. It's a short procedure and you'll be fine if you have it. 💐💐💐

Well I've had my bloods done and kept my appointment, but my head is all over the place I'm an absolute wreck. I'm not normally so emotional, I've got in my head that I want another scan to make sure even though there has been 2 scans showing 2 empty sacs, but I know that's a completely ridiculous thing to ask for, if I could afford it I'd have a private scan, I haven't seen any scan pictures, I don't understand why I bled so much but the sacs were still there and now they're empty and I haven't bled for 2 weeks!
