Is there any chance you can still be pregnant after 2 days of bleeding

I know the answer is probably not but I am not able to get a scan at the epu until next week and I've been bleeding red blood for a couple of days

No pain at all and no clots although some stringy stuff ( sorry if tmi)

I'm 6 weeks

I've done a pt which was positive but I know that it would still show this after a m/c

Thanks

My last pregnancy I had 4 days of red blood (exactly like my normal periods) at 6/7 weeks and a scan a day or so after it stopped. All was fine and I think I had a small amount of bleeding again at 14 weeks for maybe a day and still fine.

Obviously I can't guarantee anything but the no pain or cramping sounds positive to me. Try to relax (I know, easier said than done), look after yourself as much as possible and get a scan asap. Fingers crossed for you xx

It's possible, the more blood the more unlikely but if you've not passed any clots then it could be uterine lining or a hematoma. Some people do bleed in early pregnancy. It could go either way. Fingers crossed for you!!

During my recent experience. I had bleeding no heavier than a period for 2/3 days. I didn't experience any pain apart from very, very light cramping.

I still tested positive on pregnancy tests for 2 weeks after, so thought all was well. It wasn't until my second bleed (very likely my period) that I realised I had miscarried.

Saying this a few of my friends and my sister have bled all through pregnancy and have 100% happy and healthy children.

It is horrible to say but it is a waiting game.

My fingers are crossed for you btw.

I've had a horrible emotional experience with it all.

I also had no clots etc, or least none big enough that I noticed.

Fingers crossed for you. I was 5 weeks 2 days and misscarried this morning, heavy cramping bleeding and clots all day, currently hugging hot water bottle . Hcg reading

@namechange244 Whatever happens look after yourself. Take time to feel what you feel and rest. ♥️

Thanks@Bananaloaf88

I have just been googling positive endings after blood loss to try and keep positive but I'm pretty sure it's a miscarriage

Yes it is. It's not normal but it's not uncommon either. I bled for a week! All sorts of colours ranging from dark brown to bright red. I told myself I "know" I have definitely miscarried.. but I had a scan and baby was fine. That "baby" is now 3 years old!

namechange244 · 31/08/2019 20:19

Just did a clear blue digital and it said 2-3 weeks

Said 3 plus weeks on Tuesday ☹️

@namechange244

Back then I also did a ClearBlue test. It changed from 3+ to 2-3. My honest advice is do not use them! They will cause so much anxiety. Is there any way you can get a private scan done or ring EPU and just tell them you're really worried? Surely they can squeeze you in to put your mind at ease.

namechange244 · 01/09/2019 09:25

I'm not hopeful but hanging on to positive stories

The only good possible explanation for bleeding and decreasing hcg could be a vanishing twin but I think that's unlikely

Couldn't get seen today at epu so have to wait until tomorrow😢

@namechange244 that's so bloody annoying I got seen straight away when I had your symptoms :( I'm keeping everything crossed for you. What time is your appointment tomorrow? Sending lots of hugs x

namechange244 · 02/09/2019 20:36

I know @GrannySquares . I'm going out of my mind .. I just want it confirmed now

I did another clear blue still 2-3 weeks so less than 3 plus weeks on Tuesday but I don't know how quickly the levels drop after m/c

I've stopped bleeding at least. I'm hoping it will all be over soon. Thanks for your kind thoughts

Keeping my fingers crossed. Please update tomorrow! I am really praying for you x

namechange244 · 03/09/2019 13:58

As expected I've miscarried

There is nothing in my uterus but they are checking my bloods for ectopic as a precaution

I really hope it's all over now

Thanks for your kind thoughts

@namechange244 I'm really, so sorry :( I was praying and hoping that your outcome was going to be a positive one! At least they're ruling out an ectopic pregnancy but if your hcg levels are falling then it most likely will be a miscarriage. Sending lots of hugs and sorry again! ThanksWhat a shitty day. Xx
