Can you tell me about your 6 weeks miscarriages please?

On Saturday I was 6+2. On Friday I had a scan that confirmed a baby with a strong heartbeat. Then Saturday night I started spotting and then 2 hours later lost a lot of blood very quickly. Probably 2 pads of dark red blood in a few minutes. And since then nothing...
Im practically sure Ive miscarried. But Ive had a few miscarriages before and it was more like a period, on going bleeding for a week or more, rather than one gush and then nothing.
Im booked for a scan on Friday.
I know I shouldn't get my hopes up, but this feels slightly different to my previous early losses.
Has anyone miscarried in a similar way?

Hi, with my first baby I was 7 weeks pregnant when I randomly had a gush of blood, no pain, but just that and then spotting afterwards. I went for a scan and all was fine, they said was probably just a pocket of blood there that had to come away. She's nearly 10 now so that ended well 😊.

I have also had a miscarriage, I was about 8 weeks, had spotting mostly for a week or so but because of my precious pregnancy being ok I didn't worry much, then I got cramps... went for a scan and there was no heartbeat.

I've had 3 more babies, and 2 more miscarriages and all of its been different. You really won't know without a scan. Hope it's all ok xx

Its so hard to tell it was so quick. Im probably clutching at straws as there was a lot of blood.
I am feeling quite crampy and tired so maybe the rest will come later.

They told me to take a pregnancy test on Thursday and not to come for the scan if its negative. I suppose if I take it now its too soon, it will still be positive.

One of my miscarriages, I was spotting for about 8-9 days before it increased and eventually led to heavy bleeding about 11 days after it started. The other was a missed miscarriage so no symptoms. I guess you just don't know until you've had the scan, but keeping fingers crossed for you

Ok thats good to know. There is no one way I suppose. Im just hoping... silly but inevitable!

And how long after your miscarriage did you stop feeling sick? I feel pretty horrible tonight and I wish it would just stop

I miscarried three weeks ago and still being sick and can't keep anything down. I only bled heavy for three days x

Wow @Naomi9313 thats awful. Have you spoken to a doctor?
Im going to see one today I have s very dull and constant pain in my uterus and there is now a smell...I know I have 'retained product'.
Has this happened to anyone?
I just wish I would bleed and this could be over!

@bonjourbonjour yeah all she can do is give me anti sickness and wait for next period sickness isn't too bad when you know there's something good coming off it.. oh I hope your okay x

@Naomi9313 yes it helps when you know its for the baby. When its for nothing its just heartbreaking.
I hope this all eases up for you now quickly, 3 weeks is a long time😔

This is my experience.. Found out 20th June we were pregnant after being on the pill.. which worked out I maybe forgot a few on a boozy holiday.. anyway we were happy about the news, sadly a week after a heavy bleed we were told we miscarried at around 8 weeks .. so I started taking my pill again but couldn't and still can't keep anything down so I was vomiting about half hour after having the pill, had unprotected sex every day after the bleeding had stopped after three days not even thinking that the pill wouldn't be in my system.. I'm now a hormonal mess with tingling boobs, a bloated tummy, aching back and ready to crawl in bed at tea time.. not to mention three weeks on and still not keeping any food down, we have decided while I'm being sick to come off the pill and "pull out" however am I now thinking is it possible to be pregnant so quick after a miscarriage?

I had a huge bleed at 7 weeks. Just as you described, very heavy and very quick. I’m currently 15 weeks. Sometimes it can’t be explained. Keeping everything crossed the same happens for you x

@mynameisMrG thank you for this. So pleased for you this was the outcome. Since I have now developed a 'smell' and have this constant dull ache in my back and tummy I suspect something is wrong. I did have a bit of hope but I really do think I have miscarried. Thank you for your update xxx

@Naomi9313 of course you could be pregnant. Have you done a test? I would speak to your Dr again, 3 weeks of nausea isnt right.

@bonjourbonjour hopefully it's good news for you fingers crossed.. I bled the first two month with my little girl and everything was fine with her, I'm trying to leave it another week to test but I think I'm going to give in and have to get one x

@Naomi9313 yes do and then let us know? If its positive you should push for an early scan at your local EPU to find out whats going on.

I have just done a pregnancy test as advised by my EPU ahead of my scan on Friday and its still quite strong. I suppose since its only been 4 days since the miscarriage this could be why. Here is a picture of it

@bonjourbonjour off to get one now but not getting my hopes up, Iv got symptoms but don't know if that's everything just mixed in.. ohh that looks like a strong line, fingers crossed for you when you go get a scan that all is well x

@bonjourbonjour my test came back negative pretty quick the levels go down quick so fingers crossed x

Still no bleeding... I dont know whats going on. Is this what an incomplete miscarriage looks like? Will I need a D&C?

@bonjourbonjour could no bleeding be a good sign? I'm sure if it's incomplete they will be able to tell you 100% tomorrow hopefully

It feels as though my symptoms are tailing off and I have this burning sensation in my uterus... doesnt feel good. Doesnt feel 'pregnant' 😔
