Struggling to get treatment for MMC

Has anyone else struggled to get treatment? I had a private scan last Sunday which showed no growth or heartbeat previously seen 2 weeks prior (approx 5-6 weeks)
Got referred to the hospital last Tuesday who scanned and told me as they don't accept private scans I'd have to come back in a week and gave me info on my options after agreeing it was MMC.
So yesterday I went back fully expecting this nightmare to get sorted out for us only to be told to come back in another week for another scan as even though there is no heartbeat and the sac has shrunk she thought the fetal pole had got bigger which was probably it breaking down but she wasn't prepared to call it.
I started to bleed on Monday but barely like a period and nothing like other ladies have described when suffering a natural miscarriage.
Due to the nature of my job I'm not able to go back to work and feel isolated and housebound with this hanging over me.
Has anyone else had this? And if so were you give any other options?

I had six early miscarriages all before 12 weeks. The first one was awful with really bad cramps and heavy bleeding I was nine weeks. I had a D&C for my second as I couldn't go through that again I was 11 weeks then, the following four I was around 5-6 weeks like you and they were just like a normal period so it can vary.

The waiting for it to happen is horrible, it's really hard mentally when you need to know one way or the other.

Yeah the waiting has been tough. Just seems unnecessary when the baby isn't anywhere near what it should be at this stage. I think I'm body is dealing with it naturally now but it's been a slow progress.
I'm so sorry you've been through it so many time, that must be heartbreaking. I hope you have success xx
