Hi so I've posted here quiet a bit recently I thought I was suffering my fourth miscarriage i had bled after having been advised to take low dose aspirin so had a scan Monday they found to my surprise the little bean with a heartbeat I was dated 7weeks 4. 8 weeks is my danger zone two of my three miscarriages haven't got much past 8 weeks. Low and behold I turned 8 weeks yesterday and all symptoms have gone like a switch has been flicked then this morning I notice the brown discharge has returned. I just don't know what to do epu discharged me as pregnancy was viable my gp is extremely hard to get any appointment and too top it all off were supposed to be having a special family trip for the bank holiday.

I'm so sorry just go to epu now and say you want to be scanned. I'm going through my third miscarriage- all were missed and I said I can't physical or psychologically go through it again. I saw a heart beat then the same as you so they booked me in for vacuum the next day and I must say it is far less traumatic.
Good luck

Hi OP if you have had 3 previous miscarriages are you not under the care of a recurrent miscarriage clinic? They usually scan every 2 weeks from 6 weeks up till 12?
If not I would book a private scan - they're not too expensive these days and to be honest worth it to stop worrying? X

Hello thank you for replies I'm not being helped as my miscarriages weren't consecutive and I was only offered the scan on Monday because of my history but as they say its viable there is no further help! With regards to private scans they dont have them here where I live and I would need to get a ferry to the main land to have one x

Just call back and say that you now have pain and bleeding. They will almost certainly see you.

Disconnected I had a traumatic experience around erpc my second missed miscarriage was found at my 12 week scan baby had gotten to ten weeks as it was four days before Christmas I opted for the op but the surgeon punctured my womb and I had to face Christmas still pregnant knowing I could miscarry at any point I had to wait for the pregnancy unit to open again and have medical management. Which I was absolutely awful I lost alot of blood and was in lots of pain. My other two losses have come away naturally and I would opt for that again if I lose this pregnancy too x

Oh god that sounds terrible was it with the manual evacuation? I completely understand why you don't want to do that. I suppose then it's just a waiting game. You might not have lost it yet but do you want to know? If so I agree, with pain and bleeding it's worth a try to get another scan.
Big love to you it really sucks x

Oh no OP that's rubbish mine weren't consecutive but I had a sympathetic GP who did the referral

If it stays brown I would wait it out a couple of Days whilst you can book/get to a private scan

If it turns red I would go to a&e x
