Hi all,

Just took a test which had came back positive. I’ve had two miscarriages and a chemical pregnancy. I just terrified that history is going to repeat itself.

I’m going to go to boots on Monday (GP closed) and buy some folic acid. tbf it’s £1.99 in boots where a prescription is going to cost £9, so I might as well start early.

After my last miscarriage I said that my next pregnancy I would take baby aspirin daily. I’ve done a lot of research and herd of lots of benefits. My midwife did say during my last pregnancy that they may want to but me on a form of blood thinner because of family history and the fact I always have pins and needles in my arms and legs.

Has anyone else taken a daily dose of baby aspirin and had any success. If I do go on to miscarry again will the bleeding be worse?

Thankyou xxxx

You should only take aspirin if you have a diagnosed medical need as if you don't it can actually do more harm than good
(I asked my specialist about it as I attend a recurrent miscarriage clinic and she said it's a big no no) x
