Miscarriage bleeding for 6 weeks and heavy NHS UK 2019

I had a miscarriage on 19th December 2018 and have been bleeding non stop since. It started to trail off couple weeks ago but it only reduced to brown discharge. This past week I have been bleeding very heavily and passing clots. Been to see Gynacologist and he said to either take norethisterone for 21 days but it will affect ovulation for this month or I could take tranexamic acid for 4 days and it won't affect ovulation.

I already have PCOS and have problems with ovulation. My periods have been regular for 13 moths straight. I got pregnant on 3rd round of clomid 50g and was taking metformin 500mg for a year. Also taking prenatal vitamins tablets.

It took us 2 years to get pregnant and are eager to try to conceive again. Which of the 2 medicines above will help me to TTC sooner. I don't want to any medicine that will hinder getting pregnant.

Also with the tranexamic acid, if it helps to stop the breakdown of clots then where do those clots go? Does it get reabsorbed or will it come out in next cycle? Should i expect my first cycle to start in 1 month as normal? What if I get pregnant wil my uterus be strong enough to handle the pregnancy?

Sorry for asking so many questions. Just want this bleeding to stop so we can try again.

Thank you..
