Miscarriage/pregnancy loss

PETRIFIED of having another miscarriage after BFP

My last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage, I was absolutely devastated. I didn't find out until my 12 weeks scan and was told the pregnancy had stopped developing at about 6 weeks. My partner works away so it's been hard ttc. After paying a fortune for tests etc at a private fertility clinic, just as we were about to start Clomid and try insemination I got a BFP! I'm now nearly 6 weeks and am absolutely petrified of having another miscarriage. I have had no sickness so far (the same as my last pregnancy) which is making me panic like crazy that I've had another miscarriage! I took another pregnancy test at what would be 5 weeks and 2 days and the line was quite faint, which has now convinced me that my hcg must be low so I'm probably going to have another miscarriage. What can I do?

Can you ask your GP to refer you for an early scan? Mine did after a MMC. Failing that are you able to pay for a private scan?

I have paid for an early private scan but that isn't for another 1.5 weeks. I'm wondering if I call the private fertility clinic I was attending if they might be able to do something?

I don't have any experience of private clinics but maybe worth giving them a call, I'm guessing they could do blood tests to see if your levels are rising ok? Early pregnancy is so stressful when you've had previous losses Flowers

I know, and my partner just keeps telling me not to worry or stress but that's much easier said than done!

Sorry for your loss OP but congrats on your new pregnancy. Mc mashes all future pregnancies diluted with anxiety and takes away all the magic doesn't it. After losing our first pregnancy when I saw those two lines on a test for our second one we were immediately anxious, sadly that pregnancy also ended in mc. Can you all the private clinic to do blood tests to check HCG is rising as would be expected for a healthy early pregnancy? Wishing you all the best for this one.
