No period 8 weeks after ERPC, worried sick, Any Advice?

I’m looking for some advice from people who have been through similar.

I had an ERPC on 15.11.2018, following a MMC at 8 weeks.

I bled the day of the procedure and then nothing since. I’m now on CD52 and my period hasn’t returned. I had a small amount of brown blood on 01.01.2019 but that stopped within 30 minutes. I normally have a regular 32 day cycle. I’m worried something has gone wrong in the surgery which has rendered me infertile. No chance of PG as we haven’t DTD since surgery. I’ve had my HCG levels checked and they are less than 1.

Has anyone been in a similar situation and had their periods return and go in to conceive?

Just to share my experience, I had a late miscarriage at 18.5 weeks in October, and I finally ovulated for the first time ten weeks later at Christmas. No proper periods in between just some light spotting.

I'm hoping to get my first period at the weekend. Then I will know my body is back to normal (unless I am pregnant again which is a slight possibility).

I was very stressed waiting for my cycle to go back to normal but I do think these things can take time. Some women are fine straight away and have a normal cycle. But some it takes 2/3 months.

My doctor said that if my cycles weren't back at 4 months that's when they would look into it - but of course don't wait if you are worried!
