Is this normal? To not have any real bleeding, I wouldn't even really call it spotting, and nothing at all for last 4 days but now suddenly bright red blood and cramping? Is the normal... it was a missed miscarriage at 5ish weeks found out at 9 weeks thankyou xx

If you hadn't already passed the baby then this sounds like it may have been what happened. I had this, my baby measured 9 weeks but I was 12 weeks which means that my body took a few weeks to notice what had happened x

How are you doing OP? Noticed your post is a day old now but hoping all is okay. Maybe worth getting checked out if you haven't yet. You might have retained "product" or a start of an infection. Call your EPU for some advice.

I had a d&c and had two scans to make sure everything was removed, because I was in hospital as I was in a lot of pain.... the scans showed nothing both times, I've only had a little more bleeding now so I think if I have another bleed I will go to the epu.

That's a relief everything seems okay with the scans at least. I really hope it's nothing. Our bodies all cope with these things differently. Wishing you well soon Flowers

Hi OP sorry I also missed this - I'm in a similar boat to you. Had a scan at 11+6, baby had only developed to 6+5. Had D&C on Monday and only light bleeding until yesterday when the floodgates opened - massive amounts of red blood and huge clots. I rang EPU and they were really good, but didn't think I needed to go in unless I felt unwell (although they gave me the choice and also asked me to call back within the hour to let them know I'm ok). I would say give them a call if you're worried but it does seem fairly normal Thanks
