Can someone make sense of this for me please?

I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks, dead on 9 weeks because scan at the time measured 9+1 with a heartbeat.

When I caught the pregnancy in my hand, the baby itself seemed to 'throb' if that makes sense? It wasn't just my hand, as I thought it was probably adrenaline rushing through me. I put them on a tissue and the baby was still throbbing.

Is this to do with the blood that was circulating around it just before? After a minute or so it completely stopped.

Thanks all

So sorry for your loss. x

I doubt that the baby would have throbbed due to circulation, because heartbeats and circulating blood generally don't make things throb. Maybe you could ask your doctor about it? I've also heard that tests can be run on the foetus to determine the cause of the miscarriage if you want, but that may depend on your area. Again, so sorry for your loss.
