Hi all.
I have recently found out I am pregnant again after suffering a mmc in April. As you can imagine I am a nervous wreck with this pregnancy. A few days ago I began getting quite bad period cramps and back ache and yesterday I began bleeding. It seems to be more when I go to the toilet. I think all my pregnancy symptoms have gone aswell (nausea and tender breasts) but I don’t know if this is because I’m dreading the worst and imagining they are gone. I have a scan at the EPU on Friday but am struggling to cope with the wait. Has anyone had similar experiences to this? Positive or negative please. Thanks

How are you today Fizzbee? I know what you're going through is so hard. I had a mmc in March, and then fell pregnant again in July, sadly I started bleeding at 8 weeks and it was another miscarriage, however, a friend who fell pregnant at the same time as me had bleeding too and she was absolutely fine. It seems very random. Hope that you're ok today xx

Hi catlike1979. It’s the same as yesterday really although I passed a clot yesterday. I’m really hoping that everything will be ok but I am preparing for the worst again. Sorry to hear it’s happened to you aswell. Have you had a successful pregnancy or are you still trying? Thanks for messaging. X

I'm sorry to hear that Fizbee, fingers crossed. I have had a successful pregnancy - my DS is now 2.8 years old. We started ttc number 2 in January of this year, fell pregnant first time (amazing as DS was conceived via IUI after a year of trying!), mmc at 8 weeks (identical twins, embryos stopped growing at 5 weeks), had medically managed mc and started trying again straight away. Fell pregnant on 5th month trying and then mc again at 8 weeks. I was a nervous wreck in the second pregnancy this year, like you. It's so hard. They've said it's likely chromosomal abnormality, but who knows. I so hope it will be ok for you, it's a horrible waiting period xxx

Ohhh I am sorry to hear what you’ve been through but so happy you have had a successful pregnancy and have a healthy little one. Did you have tests done after your 2nd one? I’ve heard the NHS are unlikely to do it unless it happens 3 times. Xx

Yes we asked for tests but they said no as we've "only" had 2 miscarriages. We're looking at going private as I'm 39 soon and getting a bit worried about age and likelihood of repeat miscarriages. It's so stressful. Do you have any children? xx

It’s terrible isn’t it that you have to suffer 3 before they will do anything. We don’t have any children yet and I am 29 so we are contacting a couple of private clinics today just to get the ball rolling. We are also worried about age and it happening again. I am just stressed constantly. Which I know doesn’t help TTC or when you are pregnant. Do you have any tips for being less stressed? Xx
