2 days after miscarriage, negative HPT but feel sick, hot, back pains

I had an early miscarriage 2 days ago at 5 weeks. A&E carried out a pregnancy test at the time and it was negative so I thought that after that physically I should start to feel better.
This morning I have had diarrhoea, feel really sick, hot flushes, pains in my tummy and my back. Is this normal? How long will it last? It’s making it harder to deal with Sad

Have you done a test? At home? Do you have a temperature? If you don't have a temperature it could just be your hormones going totally mental and settling down

I had surgery for an ectopic this week and have a rather attractive sheen of sweat 100% of the time plus night sweats.

If you're on Facebook There's a really helpful supportive group for miscarriage it's closed and run by the miscarriage association it's really helped me

If you've a temp (not just hot flushes) you need to see a dr as may have developed an infection.

But if not chances are just hormones playing silly buggers, can take a while to settle down. I was still having morning sickness for about 2 weeks post surgery for ectopic/mc.

Thank you @Shapelyglass and @Graphista
I don’t have a temp, it’s just a wave of feeling extremely hot every now and then.
Managed to finally sleep properly last night, didn’t wake up until 10.30!
So sorry that you have both been through this too xx
