Hi, I took 2 sepetate tests this morning from a 10miu and a 25miu test. Would you say these are Negative please? It seems strange and sad to get my hopes up for a negative test. 🙁

Thank you, I kept thinking I saw lines. Just gotta wait for af now. Do you normally wait just for 1 af?

Unless docs have instructed you otherwise, some don't wait for AF at all.

I'm almost there with my BFN too, even use the same brand of test as you! Had a faint pos this morning still though. We're just seeing what happens and if we get pregnant straight away again then that's great.

Oh @HidCat i had a visible positive yesterday and then passed something horrible, like a mass of flesh it was vile, then this morning I got those. Fingers crossed then you get yours in the next couple of days (negative test I mean).

Do you think an OPK would be affected? The only reason I ask is because I did one tonight and there was a visible line there, though not as dark as the control. We dtd tonight (unprotected) 🤔 it had just been so long and normally we're very active. They didnt tell us that there was a medical reason not too.

Will you test again tomorrow? I did everyday. X

Do you want it too be positive?

Funkyemzie · 06/03/2018 23:27

No, I want them to be negative.

Just coming out of an MC just over 3 weeks ago so I was convinced I could see lines but my OH said he couldn't. A negative test would just mean we can move on with ttc as the hospital need to know I've had a negative test before they will discharge me.

Sorry just realised you meant the OPK's. I'm not sure, I'm such an organised person with this that I just wondered if it would be worth trying to track anything or just forget it until af arrived and start next cycle.

I'm being very scatty and all over the place at the moment and i thought my body and cycles was the one thing I had an understanding over. Since the MC I actually don't know what to do with myself...literally! It probably didnt help that we dtd unprotected tonight too. I think that's going to have to stop until af.

OPKs can be affected by the pregnancy hormones so best not to use them til after AF I think, then people seem to use them about a week in and test every day or twice a day. They're not entirely reliable though.

If you're still feeling raw from the MC then don't be afraid to hold back a bit longer before getting back into TTC. You'll know when you're ready. Big hugs your way.

I think you're right. Physically I feel ok, mentally I'm still a bit messed up, I think we will just wait now for af so I can get my head straight, I feel like I just need to get straight into it now though. 🤔

I hope you get sorted soon too lovely. Thank you! X
