I had it confirmed 6 weeks ago that my pregnancy had ended (had been bleeding for a week, very small sac seen the week before but was told to come back in a week and when I did there was nothing visible on the scan so I was told I have had a complete miscarriage.
I had a period 1st-6th September and in the grand scheme of things that was okay- heavier and slightly longer than my usual periods but nothing too horrendous physically. Then this week, since about Thursday, I have been feeling absolutely awful. My skin hurt, I had a fever, stomach cramps (some so strong they woke me in the middle of the night). Now the sore skin and fever is mostly gone but I am still getting cramps and feeling sick, as well as having heartburn.
Wtf is going on? Is this connected to the miscarriage or is just a virus that I've picked up? (Possibly because my immune system is low?) I haven't been taking it as easy as I probably should have done - I have a very busy and stressful job - and now I'm wondering if I'm not taking as good of myself as I should be. I've had a very lazy weekend but still feel not right this morning (although slightly better than I did)
Any advice? Do I need to speak to my doctor?
