Bleeding after surgical management

I had the surgical method of miscarriage management yesterday and am just looking for a little advice from anyone that can shed some light on this...

I'm still very groggy from the GA but have had very little bleeding to speak of and only mild cramping. From what they prepared me for, I was expecting at least a few days of heavy bleeding but there's practically nothing at all. They sort of prepared me for what happens if bleeding continues but there was no mention of not bleeding. Admittedly I've spent most of the day lying horizontally but not sure if that makes a difference! Should I be worried there's no bleeding or think myself lucky?

I'm just waiting to go down to theatre myself this morning. Hello ladies.

So sorry to hear of your loss thisismadness77. Your procedure will be absolutely fine, just such an awful thing to go through. I had an MVA on Tuesday and am feeling OK physically. Finding things tough today emotionally. Doesn't help being stuck in the house for a week!

thisismadness I'm so sorry you're joining us. Best of luck with your surgery. The surgery itself isn't too bad and as you can see, physical recovery so far for highshelf and I hasn't been too bad. Just prepare yourself for bizarre emotions and make sure you rest up and take things easy. Please let us know how you get on

I had one a year to the day (tomorrow). I was fine after, relieved for it to be over. Hope today's will be an easy recovery too.. thanks it's good to have you here.
