Help- miscarrying- can feel the sac

Help. I'm currently going through natural miscarriage at 9 weeks. They said at my early scan that there was yolk only. I have had heavy bleeding now I can feel the sac inside my vagina but it's attached and not coming away. Will it come away naturally? How long will it take? This is horrible.

I agree with Iggi. If it's not out this evening get medical help. Don't just take no for an answer. Be a bit difficult.

SloanePeterson · 09/02/2017 15:55

I really think you should go and get checked. You're not wasting anyone's time. I had a miscarriage at about the same gestation and it went badly wrong as tissue got stuck in my cervix and I lost a lot of blood, requiring an emergency erpc, a large transfusion and hospital stay. Not to mention the psychological pain this must be causing you Flowers

Op I'm so sorry, I agree with PP though, call the EPU for advice, don't be fobbed off. I hope it's over quickly for you Flowers

Thingymaboob · 09/02/2017 17:32

I would go for a walk. Gentle exercise will help it along

Sorry it's so slow. Miscarriage is just so horrible.

TurquoiseDress · 10/02/2017 12:52

Hi OP

Hope you're doing ok- did you get your scan?
Maybe they will let you go home soon.
When all this happened to me last year, I was so glad to be at home and the local hospital had a policy of not admitting for medical management.
Although my miscarriage took 10 days from first pessaries going in until the "main event" nothing got stuck and I didn't have to go into hospital (well, they would've had to drag me in otherwise!)

Good luck and sorry you are going through this horrible time
x

Embobolina88 · 10/02/2017 14:59

They couldn't get me in for a scan today. Told me I can go home and see my little boy then come
Back at 10pm tonight to stay in ready for scan first thing tomorrow. Then depending on what they find offer surgery or drugs or let me wait again
