I am looking for some help/advice please. I was/am roughly 6 weeks however I started having some bleeding just upon wiping sorry tmi, so called EPU and went in the following day. Scan external and internal showed empty uterus, nothing else seen anywhere. Have been bleeding on and off for a week now and getting hpg taken every 48hrs with rising results however not doubling. So scared and not getting any answers at all, back in tomorrow again for bloods. Not sure how much longer I can go on not knowing and fearing eptopic. Any advice would be appreciated

I had a pregnancy of unknown location. I had regular scans until hcg started to fall. I was advised that the pregnancy could not be located but that I had effectively misscarried. I had to continue going to the epau weekly until my pregnancy tests came back negative. It took around 12 weeks in total. This was my first very much longed for pregnancy and we were devastated. I suffered a further straight forward miscarriage at 6 weeks and then went on to have 2 healthy pregnancies.

Flowers the waiting, the wanting and not knowing are really hard but if your body rejects the pregnancy naturally your chances of conceiving again remain good. Medical intervention could be used to resolve your pregnancy if needed. However, if the ultrasound shows no risk of ruptured tubes etc it may be better to wait and let nature take it's course.
