Really heavy period after miscarriage... Advice please?

I had a miscarriage 3-4 weeks ago and I think I'm having my first period since though it's difficult to tell because bleeding has been on and off in between.

Today I've filled a moon cup at least 3 times and the last time was in about an hour and a half and it over flowed.

So at what point do I get concerned about how heavy the bleeding is?

Hi. So I miscarried last year in April at 6 weeks and ever since my periods came back they've been awful. The Bleeding is Heavier than before and the pain is worse. I always puke and can't keep anything down for the first have of my period and get cold sweats and a high temperature. I kept telling myself it'll go back to normal but it's been a year now and they're still the same. I've only just started looking after myself again because after the miscarriage I was constantly trying to help everyone else except myself which ended badly as people took advantage of that and used me. I just don't know what to do and my doctor's never have appointments. I've been trying to get an appointment for a few months now but nothing and I'm really worried.

Adding to this as it came up when I was searching for answers - like many of us over the years, I suspect.

My first period post miscarriage (8 weeks, passed everything 'naturally') started yesterday.

I have always had pretty heavy periods but this one is the heaviest so far and like others have said, almost akin to the miscarriage.

I searched for whether this is normal and this thread came up. I hope that anyone finding this in the future will source some examples and help from this.

There was a woeful lack of aftercare for me - I had no idea what to expect. Thank you to all those up thread who have posted.

I’m wondering if anyone can give me any insight. I had an MC in January having previously had one in October (no period in between so second pregnancy was a shock). I stopped bleeding 25th February. My doctor said that I’d get my period very quickly after as the MC was quite prolonged. I got what I think was my first period 28th February but I’ve been bleeding ever since. It’s now been over three weeks. It’s not heavy but it just seems to be lingering. We would like to TTC again at some point but I don’t know if I should go to my doctor again as it’s not stopped. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi! I know this thread is really old, but I was wondering if you could remember how long it took for things to level out for you. I’m having the same experience as you did. It can be so scary!!
