Miscarriage or late heavy period sorry for the tmi

Hi all sorry for the tmi
Was just looking for some advice. My period was 2 weeks later and was extremely painful. I passed clots, boobs were so sore to touch and bleeding was heavy I felt generally unwell. After all this calmed down I started bleeding a bit the other night but it has now stopped.
It wasn't until I read someone else's experience I started wondering if it was or just a heavy period
Any comments are must appreciated. Thanks in advance xxx

Sounds like miscarriage. Worse than period cramping and a lot of clots passed. I would make an appointment with your OB to check things out. After you miscarry you want a transvaginal us to make sure all the contents cleaned out so you don't get an infection or have later fertility issues.

A colleague of mine was 3 weeks late with her period & she did negative pregnancy tests up until that point. When she eventually had her period, it was much heavier. She was under a lot of stress, so put it down to that
