Long story short- thin lining in uterus, low rising hcgs and pregnancy location unkown.

I just want answers now as to whats going to happen, the doctors have been great but the whole wait and see situation is kiling me.

Either way its broke my heart. Xxx

If you feel ready for a positive story... I had the same operation several years ago and went on to conceive two more babies - first month of trying both times - with just the one tube. Did they tell you the other tube will often compensate by sweeping up any fertilized eggs on the missing tube side? Both my pregnancies were from eggs released on the right side - where I have no tube - our bodies are amazing.

Chin up. Take time to recuperate properly, your tummy will be sore for a while.

Sending a big squidgy very unmumsnetty hug and FlowersChocolate. The same thing happened to me in 2010 and it broke me. I hope you have lots of real life support, even if you do, a website called the ectopic pregnancy trust is brilliant, you can bare your soul in a completely safe, non-judgmental environment there. I know nothing anyone can say will make you feel better at the moment, just take as much time as you need to heal and remember that things will seem better in the future, however unlikely that feels right now.

Had the same thing a few years back... the long drawn out waiting to find out what was happening, repeated scans and blood tests was the worst bit. Once I had had the tube out I could at least start to heal and move on a bit... your fertility is a bit dented, but still 75% or more of what is was, I have had three boys since, all conceived in under three months, and with two of them at my early scan (you need early scans for all pregnancies from now on in case of another ectopic) you could see that the egg had come from the side with no tube. It is a horrible horrible time, but you will come out the other side. Be gentle on yourself. And come here to vent when needed xx

Thank you so much every one. I really appreciate it. Its comforting knowing there are positive stories at the end of this XXX
