Just been reading the spring issue of Juno magazine and they have a really good article on miscarriage.

The following was quoted, having been read at the Whittington Hospital Act of Remembrance, 2002. My miscarriage was over 3 years ago, but this still brought tear to my eyes.

"No name, no face, no date of birth,
No hour of death, no plot of earth.
You never breathed or kicked or cried
And yet, for us, you lived and died."

I found this today searching for a poem to read at the momorial service on Tuesday:
I didn?t have to look into your eyes
To fall in love with you.
I didn?t have to hear you cry
To know you loved me too.
I didn?t need to hold your hand
To cherish you always
Within my womb, we shared our hearts.
You touched my soul.
You sweetened my spirit.
You gave me memories I?ll always hold dear.
Yes my heart aches since you departed so soon.
But a mother?s love does not end with death.
For you are my child.
Forever my love is yours.
