When I had my baby 16 yrs ago the doctor pulled off a torn piece of cervix after several midwives discussed stitching etc , I have been reading that the cervix can open prematurely and allow miscarriage and that a stitch can be put in the cervix until you are ready to give birth to avoid this. If part of mine is missing will it be closed? Is this why I'm bleeding? Can they check my cervix visually?
