early scan now pregnant after 2 MCs - yay or nay?

I'm currently 6 weeks pregnant after 2 first trimester losses in the past few months. With each of the two pregnancies I lost, I had an early scan around now (privately) and in the first case, it confirmed that there was no longer a pregnancy, and in the second (and most recent) everything looked great and there was a strong heartbeat but we lost the baby just 2 weeks later.
I can't decide whether to get an early private scan done now or not? The GP won't refer me to EPAU for one as says there's no need, just wait for the 12 week one. But I'm going a bit mad waiting. But equally, won't be reassured if we have one and all is fine, given what happened last time. Help?

I had a loss previously at 8+4 but didn't find out until 12 week scan and so booked in a private scan for this time at 9 weeks - turned out i was 9+6 on the day but it really set my mind at rest, for that moment in time.
I then still worried between then and my 1st NHS scan (which wasn't until 13+4 this time)

If you can afford it I would as it really did give me something to hold on to and personally I didn't want to wait another 4 weeks to find out if the baby hadn't even got past the 9 week mark if that makes sense?

I ended up having 3 private scans before my 12 week scan in my current pregnancy. I think we're all different and there's no right or wrong thing to do. If it will give you some reassurance, however fleeting, I would have one. It wasn't worth the stress and worry to me. Could you have one now and then another in a few weeks time?
