How to find a doctor who will prescribe progesterone?

Dear all,

Newbie here. After 2 MC my doctor back home said next time I should start progesterone asap. Moved to UK & finally got pregnant after 2 years of no luck. Went to see GP but can't get anyone to prescribe.

I know there is no conclusive proof that this works but am desperate to do the little I can to make this successful.

Anyone know of doctor (don't mind private) open to this line of treatment? Saw several mention Coventry. I'm in Oxfordshire (OX16 area).

Many thanks!

Stats
Me 41, DP 42
MC1 - Dec 12 (7-8 weeks)
MC2 - Jul 13 (5 weeks)

Standard scans all clear.

Sorry to hear of your mmc @Cleozeta

@Tinker315b shame B6 hasn't helped you, I feel like there is so much going on in terms of hormones and things that it's hard for us to take control, even B6 supplements it's one variable and there are sooooo many things that apparently can help or hinder. Some people cut out caffeine and booze and everything. If you google it you always get stories of people conceiving with progesterone at 22 or something.

So weird I managed to post on the wrong thread! Apologies for bumping something from a while ago and hoping there has been some positive progress for posters Flowers
