Misoprostol - what happened to you?

I'm sorry to start another thread, just looking for some advice.
I had misoprostol treatment on Sunday (had a scan 2 weeks ago as started bleeding at 10 weeks, empty sac).

Bled a lot as expected but it was just about bearable. I just feel like crap. Was going to try and get back to work this week but I'm washed out. I feel dizzy and shattered.

(And I've had the runs all day today - TMI). I'm not sure whether to bother calling the GP. Surely it is quite normal to feel like this?

It just seems that everything I read says you recover fairly quickly and should be up and about - I have been but I'm struggling.

Sorry for ur loss. It's so hard.
I had bad diarrhoea and shivers with it and obv cramping. Rem ur emotionally tired and physically lost blood and ur hormones are EvERYWHERE.it took me a good few days to feel physically normal.

Take it easy Flowers

Sorry to hear you are going through this. I think it's normal to feel crap for a while and I believe the runs is a common side effect. Don't forget your body and your mind is going through an exhausting process. Give yourself a chance to recover. If you think you can't cope with how you are feeling or are worried phone your drs for reassurance.
Unfortunately it didn't work for me even after 2 doses, I just vomited and felt like shite but never started bleeding so ended up with an ERPC

Thats horrid wonkylegs.
I'm relieved it worked but just want to get back to normal.

Hi - I had medical management for my MMC. Went into hosp on tues evening and over the next day had three rounds of the medication. I am bleeding but it isn't getting heavier and I haven't passed anything sizeable so if am back at home "waiting." I had TERRIBLE runs in hospital. Apparently common but I wasn't expecting it.

Are you back home now?

nousernameinspiration · 25/06/2015 12:21

Sorry - I see you are. Does that mean your miscarriage is "complete?" (Sorry if I am asking too much.)

Don't rush back to work if you can help it. I feel very emotional and drained and haven't really been through any of the physical stuff yet. Flowers for you
