DH wants to celebrate Mother's Day... wwyd?

I hadn't thought about it. But of course, this is my first ever Mother's Day as a mother. But our twin babies were born/ died last year.

Also, I'm too ill to do much. What does daddy do?

It is such a personal thing, in a similar situation I chose not too, not because I wasn't a mother, it just didn't feel right.

It sounds like your husband wants to spoil you, what about a lovely duvet day with DVDs and treats?

There are so many tough days to get through, we all just have to do what it takes.

Perhaps he should just get you something you'd really like, maybe not an actual Mothers' Day card, but a "love you lots" style card instead - I don't know, what would you prefer? I would think an actual Mothers' Day card would be too poignant, too heartbreaking - but you might prefer it.

Could you do something to remember your twins tmrw? Could you leave flowers or something.

I would like to have left flowers on my dd2s 'patch' where we buried her ashes at the crematorium but having a toddler it didn't seem quite right. I left some yesterday instead.
