I had a natural miscarriage which looks like it has finally come to an end- I started bleeding at 6 wks pg on 16th jan, found out I was having a miscarriage on 26th jan, passed the sac/tissue naturally on 30th jan.
I poas on thurs and got a bfp and am now expecting my period. Im quite worried about it as I've got a 15hr flight next week for a funeral in se Asia.. Does anyone know if there is any way to speed up my period as I've heard the first period after mc can be heavy and painful, and I'm worried it's going to come when I fly or when I'm in a boiling hot humid packed out church.
I've tried vit c, and drinking raspberry leaf tea.. Not sure if either are proven to work, or if there's anything else I can do x

No, nothing.
My period was normal after mc, not heavy or painful.

Hi cinnamon, if you're still getting a bfp then there's obviously still a trace of hcg. I was advised to go back to hospital if still testing positive 2 weeks after I stopped bleeding. Seems like it's been over 3 weeks since you passed everything? I'm also not sure why you're expecting your period just yet if you're still getting a bfp? Unfortunately my first period after mc was horrible, very heavy & also difficult emotionally as the physical pain & bleeding were all too similar to the mc & yet another reminder that I wasn't pregnant anymore. As for speeding things up, I'm afraid I don't think there's anything you can do. Sorry xx
