Hello,

I sadly had a tfmr at 19 weeks last week. I'm keen to try again but I'm still carrying the extra weight. I realise it was only last week though.

Of cause I'd rather be thinner to look nice but my main reason of wanting to loose the weight is I don't want an even higher bmi when I hopefully get pregnant again. I'm not huge I suppose, I'm a size 16 but I'd like to loose a bit first. Ive always been a size 14/16 bit would like to be the lower end really.

So did people find they naturally lost the weight or is it back to weight watchers and the gym? (It take a LOT of effort for me to loose weight)

Thanks for listening to my ramble.

So sorry you to hear about your loss.

I am in a similar situation - recent mc at 17 weeks, and I put on a lot of weight in the first trimester. It's adding insult to injury Sad

From personal experience, it really depends on you and your body type whether you will loose the extra weight that you have gained. Some people don't have to do anything, and the weight drops off. Others (like me!) have to work at it.
However, just by becoming more active again will probably help a lot. I was so tired and worn out that I did very little exercise, and I am just starting to try and get back to my usual routine, watching my portion sizes, as well consciously avoiding biscuits, cake and chocolate.

I found WW very good when trying to loose the baby weight after DS - they give you a framework that is easy to stick with, which was great for me - one less thing to think about!

Good luck x

Think once I'm physically ok I'll have to get back to the gym and on WW then. Weight doesn't usually fall off me unfortunately. Grrrrr. Can't wait to swim again! X
