Hi there i know this is probably a bit trivial but im on mc no 3 and want to have erpc but i really dont want to go to the hospital they are saying i have to go to, i had a really bad experience there mc no1, filthy room and bathroom, overflowing santitary bins and they kept bumping me back down the theatre list but had already given me pessaries so i lost most on dirty bathroom floor, i was very distressed and in a lot of pain and it took me years to get over. is there any way round it?

Hi purplefrog sorry you are going through this again. I hope you now have access to some testing, and you are very welcome to join us on the RMC thread
I don't know if this will help make it clearer. It says you have a choice at the point where you are referred to a consultant led service (which may imply once you are in their system you don't have a legal right to change)
Have you spoken to the GP about it? If there is a local alternative I don't see why you can't go elsewhere.

Can I encourage you to consider at least asking for cytogenetic testing of "products" after your ERPC? All the rest of the RMC tests would be blood tests and scans etc for you, which could be done at any stage if/when you decide you want them, but if you miss the opportunity to find out if there was a chromosome problem with this pregnancy I think you might regret it later.
Good luck for tomorrow, hope you are looked after much better than previously.
