Miscarriage ended 2 weeks ago, ttc straight away,no af yet and feel ILL

Some of you may remember my other threads. I have had a rough year

This mc lasted a long time. Finally stopped bleeding on the 10th Dec.

We "started trying" again pretty soon after that.

No sign of a period yet, and I have had a headache and felt (intermittently) really dodgy for a few days.

Would it be possible to be pergnant and feeling the symptoms already??

Probably to soon to even test!

Only one way to tell! Very hard to predict when you'd have ovulated, but if you have some symptoms I'd do a cheapie test. Good luck.

I did ovulate, I have recently discovered that the pain in my right side means I am ovulating! (quite a relief!) Been "trying" fairly frequently.
I might do a test, but don't want to be dissappointed!
Feeling quite emotional at the moment!

No I don't think so, about a week I suppose. I just tested and it was BFN. Trying not to let it get tot me too much

A week post ov would be too early to get a BFP - try again in another week (if you can wait that long) unless AF arrives. You're not out yet.

I'm wondering whether to ring the mdwf and ask for a bloodtest.
Things run a bit differently in the country I live in, and they have been very supportive and helpful, so I'm sure would oblige. But, is there any point this early?
Still feeling queasy btw!

Weell, having reads lots on the subject. I found some "new thinkng" that suggested it was fine to try again straight away, and actually, the longer you left it the more likely you were to miscarry again. Especially 6 months +.
This may be bullshit, of course.
I gravitate to things that tell me what I want to hear.
I know you're prpbably correct...but I'm still gutted

The info I got from the Miscarriage Association suggested it was ok to try again straight away (hope it is, as we are!). I know how you feel being impatient to be pregnant again, and it's horrible to get your hopes up and be disappointed. Sorry you had a rough 2012, hope 2013 will bring you what you want.

I think there is now a school of thought that feels the "Wait 3 cycles" advice is outdated.
But who knows.

Yes, when I miscarried 8 years ago they told me 3 cycles is actually about your mental health and they now believe it's a decision women should make for themselves. I've always been told straight away means first proper cycle as that's your body's way of saying all is back to normal.

I've had a lot of American friends who've been told they're "not allowed" to try for 3 cycles! I was told not to try again after my second loss as we were going through testing and they wanted to see if I'd need medicating first rather than risk losing another baby. I was 5 weeks when I was diagnosed but he was cool about it at least, not his place not to be really.

Yes, the American medical system is erm, different, isn't it?! They like looking at foof's on a regular basis over there it seems!

My Dr here told me 3 cycles, but it's again a different system to Uk and USA. And bless her, my doc is lovely, but as old as the hills,and not up to date I fear!

I have had all the prelim tests, lupus etc All clear.

So am hoping it's just been a series of bad luck.

We will see. Am desperate to be pregnant again. Not so desperate for the wait for scans, cvs, results etc But will take my chances

I've had two mc and two successful pregnancies. Each time I mc, I waited one cycle and then miraculously I became pregnant after my first AF. My DH would not "try" before, even though I really wanted to, it was heart wrenching because I was so desperate to be pregnant. Fortunately I became pregnant very quickly. I am not sure my mental health could have waited 3 cycles.

My DSis got pregnant with her second child before having an AF after a MC. It is possible. She went on to have two more children.

Yeah, I don't get the obsession with messing with women's vaginas all the time! I found it weird being in labour the other week, I was in hospital for 4 days and they refused to examine me at all. I went into labour and delivered them only ever checking me on admission and then when I had a bit of bleeding on the last day. It was great in a way but strange when you're used to it - and that's not even as much as America!

Have you been tested for Antiphospholipid Syndrome? It's one of the most common reasons for pregnancy complication (if they tested all women then they could genuinely say that miscarriage is one of those things because they'd have wiped out most miscarriages) but it's not widely understood by doctors. I know when I was going through testing I wasn't sure to hope for something or nothing, at least if it's something they know what to do and we can do something about it. So I hope you can get some answers either way and next time will be successful for you

Will be trying this month in earnest, anyway. I have had 3 dc with no problems, so naively thought it would always be the case. Not so. But they think because of this, it is unlikely to be something "medically wrong" nd more down to Bad Luck.
I did have a "successful pregnancy" (in terms of "sticking"), but she had Downs and other problems, and ,ultimately,it was not to be. Then another mc.
Just desperately want a baby in my arms.
Yes, they have tested for that confuddled, all clear, but thanks for suggesting it.
