So, to try and keep it brief. Last af was 12th June. Then thought I was having normal af 28 days later as expected as negative pg test and period as normal. On cd6 took a pg test as didn't feel right and got a strong positive, but I was still bleeding.
Went to see the gp who did bloods and worked out from my June af that pg would have been 5w 2 days. Those bloods came back low at 378 . Had more bloods that came back at only 498 so an increase but not enough to be a viable pregnancy. I went for an early scan and they couldn't see anything in the uterus apart from some blood. But when I had a MC at 5 weeks 4 years before, even though the levels were only 250 they could see a sack, why not now?
So, they weren't sure whether it was an MC or ectopic. Took more bloods on Friday (same day as the scan) and the levels had started to drop, down to 360.
Did a pg test today, 4 days after last bloods and scan and it is still positive and came up as fast as before. Having more bloods this Friday but decided to go to the gp today to make afire they are still dropping
Has anyone else had such a confusing early MC that took ages to happen. Bleeding has been every time I wipe, with a few stringy clots but hardly any pain. The af I had two Welsh ago finished as normal but the other bleeding started 24 hours later and has been there every day since, so 10 days so far.
Any thoughts? Apologies for any mistakes in spelling, typing this on my phone...
