Me and my partner conceived twins in the summer of 2011 but lost one at 12weeks, are second baby was born 6 months later healthy happy and beautiful. The following August we found out we were expecting are second baby after only a few weeks of trying, unfortunately my little boys heart stopped working at 20 weeks after a short labor and a heamorage resulting in a small op and a DandE. We were both heartbroken and decided to wait a good six months before trying again, once again we fell pregnant straight away, but I suffered a miscarriage at 7 weeks this Thursday, I feel absolutely devastated! Im desperate to be pregnant again part of me wants to start trying again this month, but the other half of me is petrified of history repeating itself, the doctors reassure me im just unlucky, but i can't help wondering is there something wrong with me? Anyone got any advice or first hand expirience of similar situations, anyone conceived straight after miscarriage?

I conceived within two months of my baby dying when I was 37 weeks pregnant with her. It is really scary though, and I find it difficult to relax. You might want to try spending a few weeks taking your mind off conceiving and getting yourself a bit near a "good place" in your mind.
I do not like it when we get told we were just unlucky, it always comes across as a way to excuse giving poor care despite our history. Even if they cannot find a reason they should treat you as high risk in my opinion.
One piece of advice I was given was to take low dose (75mg) aspirin.
