Woman's Hour: miscarriage

Did anyone hear Woman's Hour this morning? It was a pretty superficial discussion of the topic (well - superficial to me, but then I have far too much experience on the subject ).

The thing that surprised me though was when the interviewee said that she felt 'secure' at fourteen weeks pregnant (this was after one or two miscarriages and an ectopic). I'm not sure I actually felt secure until the wee peanut was out and breathing on her own. And even then, I had to keep checking her chest was going up and down...

Didn't catch Woman's Hour, but having just had a baby after miscarriage and infertility I can honestly say that it was only when I first held him in my arms that I believed I ever would. Lost a baby at 14 weeks so certainly no longer believe that 12 weeks means you're safe! There's not enough public info and understanding out there as it is without adding to it with superficial broadcasting - ok, I didn't hear it but still...
