MC at 6wks, when can I expect my period?

Hi all,

I miscarried at 6 weeks on the 20th March naturally. I bled for about a week after. At the hospital they took a pregnancy test which showed negative so I am assuming the HCG hormone has left my body. My periods are always regular so just wondered when I can expect them to return?

I had a mc at about 6 weeks in Jan, If the first day of my mc was the first day of my period I ovulated a week later than normal (if that makes sense) - I got pg during that cycle so didnt have a period as such. I think everyone is different though - the hospital told me it would be 4-6 weeks ish. Hope that helps!

My GP told me women usually ovulate later after a mc so it could be a week or two after you would expect your period.

I had a mc at 6 weeks.28 days after the bleeding started, I got my period. Two weeks after that I got pregnant so I've not had another period since.

My period arrived a few days ago so am just relieved that hopefully that is a sign my body is back to normal.

That's good news everything seems to be getting back to normal for you. Not that it makes what happened any easier but at least you can look forwards now. Hope all goes well for you x
