I'm beginning to wonder if I have had several very early MCs.....

Hi,

We have been trying TTC for almost two years. I am trying to gather information about my cycles as we have been referred to a fertility clinic. I have a small number of short bleeds - about 8 days and a lot of long bleeds - 10-14 days. The difference between them is that the longer bleeds start of with a week of brown and bright red spotting when I wipe, then a day of bad cramps followed by large clots then nothing. On the shorter periods, I have 1 or 2 days of spotting, a bleed then a tail end.

The reason why I am wondering if I am suffering early MCs is because the I have noticed a pale kidney shaped "thing" in the blood clot, no bigger than a cm. I have never tested positive, and I would say this was between 4 and 5 weeks so would I actually see anything? I wonder if I have an overactive imagination, but it does look like the shape of the picture in the books when they are showing embryos in the first month.

I have only started looking at the clots recently so I don't know if anything was present in the past, but I have seen this at least 3 times now.

So, my question is, does this sound like an early MC or am I just suffering irregular periods?

x

Hi onedaybaby. Don't know the answer, but didn't want your thread to go unanswered. Hopefully someone will be along who can help.

I have PCOS and a clotting problem and often get large clot like things you describe so i suspect you might have the same, or perhaps a touch of endometrosis.
i m/c at 9 weeks 18 months ago and fished it out of the loo (i know- i now wish i had left it there) anyway it was tiny and looked like a mini brain.
