Hi I was hoping that someone knows what the disorder is called when women need to take a low dose of aspirin during pregnancy to stop mc?
I know a lot of women on here have been prescribed this but do you know what the problem is called?
Thanks x

I don't think there is one particular disorder - it is to help thin blood if there is a blood clotting condition.
However, many Recurrent MC clinics advise it anyway (including mine) - even without a diagnosis, with the intention that it may help.

antiphospholipid syndrome is the reason why I am on it, but women with APS and recurrent miscarriages are likely to be on clexane as well as aspirin.

If no clotting disorder has been diagnosed, it might just be one of those "it can't hurt, it might help so why not try it" things.

I too am on low dose asprin and clexane. Again not because I've been diagnosed yet with a blood clotting thing, the clinic are just being cautious given my recurrent MC history.
