can anyone help, was that a period, do we have to wait to ttc?

i had a mmc at 12 weeks in mid dec. a lot happened naturally, in hospital, had scan, not all passed. had medical management. scan 2 weeks later not all passed. had bleeding just over 4 weeks after medical management, very heavy for 3-4 days, had scan this week and they say lining too think and period still to come, does this sound right? if so still waiting for period but about 6 weeks since mc. any wise words very welcome.

any words of advice? i'm stuck in limbo not knowing whether we should ttc or not! Had heavy bleeding for a few days about 4 weeks after medical management. had scan a couple of weeks later and they said the lining of my womb is thick and a period is due. Nothing yet which is now about 7 weeks after medical management, should i talk to GP or just wait?????

Hi, sorry for your loss.
I haven't got experience with medical management as I had DnC with my first mc but didn't want to leave u unanswered, if they have said period still to come I would just wait for it and then ttc as maybe your not going to ovulate between now and then (or it won't be viable which will bring more upset :( )
Also I have found out after my second mc that you don't ovulate at normal rate after a mc and it takes longer and your period may take longer to come as well.

thank you so much for your response. I did wait, i know it was common sense to do what i'm told but it really helped seeing it in writing. have just finished my period so can ttc again, not sure if ovulation will be normal yet but will have to wait and see. thank you so much.
