Failed medical management-twice

i am currently in limbo land after trying to have medical management twice for a missed miscarriage. It's failed both times and I don't want a eprc as I've had 3 previously and I am concerned about ashermans syndrome. My periods have nearly disappeared but I still get pain(I'm waiting to see a consultant).
Tomorrow the early preg unit are calling me to discuss options (sac was still intact 5 days ago and I haven't bled).
I've had period pain but no blood. Are there any other options-I don't think my body wants to do this-preg finished 6 Wk ago but we've only known for 3.

Hi faithhope, so sorry for your losses, I have replied to your post on the pregnancy thread. I have also suffered from AS which required 2 surgeries to fix, but am currently 18 weeks pregnant, so please dont lose hope. The important thing with AS is making sure you are treated by a Dr who knows how to treat AS, which includes treating with micro scissors, not a further d & c or any heat sources, and then use of a coil and HRT to try and prevent any scarring returning.

If you have a look at www.Ashermans.org as there is lots of info on there and maybe join the AS yahoo group, the ladies on there are fab and very knowledgeable. They can also send you a list of AS surgeons who have successfully treated other ladies in the group, I know of 2 specialists Mr Trew and Mr Lower, but there are others.

If I can help with any other questions please PM me

X

Thank you so much I will look on there. I'm so upset with my hospital, who are saying that as I now have a negative preg test that there can't be anything left in me-well I haven't even bled so I'm even more worried about ashermans!
