Light/irregular periods after ERPC - anyone able to give me any advice on what could be going on?

My MMC was picked up at the 12 week scan and the next day I had an ERPC. The bleeding wasn't heavy afterwards and lasted less than a week. About 4 weeks later I started to bleed again and thought that was my period - but it was really light and only lasted a day or two. That was 2 weeks ago, and over the last couple of days I've had some really light bleeding again.

I really want to TTC again but I wanted to get past my first period so I would be able to date things properly if I was lucky enough to fall pg again. We did start TTC after the "period" a couple of weeks ago.

I'm really confused as to what is going on, and a bit worried really that something went wrong during the ERPC. Just wondered if anyone had any similar experiences to help me work out what is it? I'd really appreciate it, thank you.

hello :) I too had an ERPC for a MMC in June. My periods took ages to come back and then were really light. I spoke to my consultant about it - and he said they always tell ladies that it can take 3 months to get your periods back to normal. Most people do have wierd cycles following an ERPC - if it does go on for longer than 3 months though - go and mention it to your GP. I hope you get lucky soon x
